5 States of India falls under 2011 Indian assembly elections poll are TamilNadu, West Bengal, Kerala and Pondicherry.
It starts on 04th April 2011 and end at 13th May 2011, Nearly 15 crores are going to enter their poll for below states
The Election Commission (EC) today announced a nationwide toll-free number 1965 for common people to lodge election-related complaints and seek information. The number is likely to be activated from next week.
By dialling this toll-free number, people would be able to lodge complaints and seek information on all election-related issues such as voter card, electoral roll, address of polling station, returning officers, list of candidates, violation of model code of conduct and so on. Customer service volunteers will be seeking all the information about the caller and she/he would be updated on the complaint or information will be send as SMS or e-Mail. Since there is no timeframe for these issues, effort would be made to do the same as quickly as possible
In TamilNadu, Pondicherry and Kerala elections will be on single phase at 13th April 2011, where as West Bengal and Assam will be on multiple phases. As a whole result will be announced on 13th May 2011. Find more details below
