Mostly we feel lazy to make a local copy of the mail attachments to view. Google has provided google docs viewer to view the mail attachment online in internet. Now google has added 12 new file formats to supports Microsoft, Adobe, Apple Autodesk, PostScripts, TrueType and XML Software
Newly Supported File Formats:
- Microsoft Excel (.XLS and .XLSX)
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 / 2010 (.PPTX)
- Apple Pages (.PAGES)
- Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
- Adobe Photoshop (.PSD)
- Autodesk AutoCad (.DXF)
- Scalable Vector Graphics (.SVG)
- PostScript (.EPS, .PS)
- TrueType (.TTF)
- XML Paper Specification (.XPS)
