TNSPC VAO Model Question Papers with Answers

TamilNadu has a shortage of more than 2000 Village Administrative Officer (VAO). Government of TamilNadu has planned to fill these post throughTamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). TNPSC has published an advertisement for the recruitment of village administrative officer (VAO) on July 21, 2010 and the last date of filled receipt of applications for the same is August 20th. Eligible applicant age should be between 21 years to 40 years. Others details like number of vacancies, qualification, pay scale and age limit is given below

Number of vacancies: 1576 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000
Age should be between: Min. Age : 21 Years , Max. Age : 40 years of age for SC/ SC (Arunthathiyars), STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes. 30 years of age for „Others.

Number of vacancies: 1077 Posts
Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000

Examination Information
Written Examination will be conducted for 300 Marks for a duration of 3 Hours. You have to take minimum 90 marks to get qualified

1. Single Paper in General Knowledge (S.S.L.C. Standard) (100 items) - 150 Marks
2. General Tamil/General English (S.S.L.C. Standard) (100 items) – 150 Marks
