In 2011 Formula One, Indian Grand Prix is the 18th race of FIA Formula One World Championship race. It is scheduled to take place at the Jaypee Group Circuit on October 30th, 2011 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, which is 50 km from Delhi(Captial of India)
Lot of changes in Formula one 2010, Race rounds has been increased from 19 to 20 and F1 tyre contract has been moved from BridgeStone to Pirelli
The Indian Grand Prix circuit will be roughly around 5.5 kilometres (3.1 miles) and it will be designed by F1 circuit designer Hermann Tilke. The 10-year contract for the race has been given to the Indian construction company Jaiprakash Associates.
The core area of the circuit would be spread over 4,000 hectares,building and infrastructure cost for the circuit would cost between Rs 12 billion and Rs 15 billion or (US$309 million/£188 million/€216 million). To know more how Formula one cars differs from others ?
