Why Bloggers are Moving From Blogger to WordPress

I could see most popular bloggers like Techcrunch, Readwriteweb,   Mashable and Problogger using wordpress as blogging platform.And some bloggers are moving from blogger platform to wordpress.I am also using blogger platform.Here I listed some problems which i faced that’s why i like to share my blogwordexperience with you.Check the reason for  why bloggers are moving from blogger to wordpress.

1.SEOMeta tags are more important for blog or website for better SEO.If you are using blogger,you need to create meta tags manually but WordPress has some plugins.

Most of bloggers saying blogger is not search engine friendly format.Once your blog updated you need to notify search engines so that we should use service like Pingomatic but wordpress has plugins.

3.Bloggers doesn’t have variety of themes,plugins,widgets but wordpress has lot of developers hence it has more themes,plugins.

4.Sitemaps are more important for blog or website to discover all the webpages   in search engines.We need to submit a sitemap to tell Google about pages on our site google might not otherwise discover.Blogger has some problem with default sitemap.We have solution for that check here Better indexing for blogger blog how to solve sitemap problem in blogger blog.

Permanent links are important for blogs,for blogger we need to do manually but in wordpress   most of the template comes with permalink and it also has plugins.

6.If don’t have time to built a blog go for blogger.It is easy to setup compare to wordpress but most of the things we need to do manually.

7.Most important blog description should be less than 500 words.Check the limits on Blogger account here.

8.Wordpress has full control on your blog but blogger has some limitation.
But still some popular bloggers like bloggertipsandtricks using blogger because content is Queen.
