Are you an iPhone user and also crazy about Android and its applications, Now you can power up your iPhone with Android os as a dual boot computer. iPhone hackers has suggested a six step guide and a video that explains installation of Android OS on an iPhone. Android is already been ported to Xpedia X1, Nokia N900 and Windows Mobile handhelds
Linux kernel 2.6 was ported to Apple iPhone. There is prebuilt Android image available for iPhone(download from here), it shows your iPhone in dual boot. You can choose to run Android or default iPhone (Mac OS).
The installation procedure is not complex as expected, all we need to do is to jailbreak your iphone with one of the listed application and run couple of applications to have Android up and running. Following are the list of jailbreak tools supported by this iPhone
Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone 3G/2G using any of the above tool. Once done, fire up Cydia and add URL http://repo.neonkoala.co.uk/ to the repository.

- Blackrain
Step 2: After adding the repository , add source and look for Bootlace and install it.
Step 3: Once you’ve installed “Bootlace” you’ll see an icon in your springboard. Fire up this app and install “OpeniBoot” once you’re into the application.
Step 4: Install “iDroid” now.
Step 5: After installing “iDroid” open “QuickBoot” and tap on Android mascot. I t will restart your iPhone and take into Android OS.
Note: It is recommended that you follow these steps over WiFi connection. This is one of the easiest way to install Android on iPhone with Cydia app.
